HouzeGuru customer beta version will be launched for limited number of families and individuals in June 2025.
Interested customers can register their email-id at www.Houzeguru.com to get notified about the launch.
Full commercial launch is expected by September 2025 on both Apple app store and Android Playstore simultaneously.
HouzeGuru is designed, as of now, for families and individuals residing in India only and therefore available on Apple appstore and Playstore in India only.
In customer beta version, only Document storage and management module will be available to the customers.
The following modules are currently under development and will be offered in the final commercial app version scheduled for launch over next few months:
- (1) Automatic quick budget creation (free trial version already available on our website *here*)
- (2) Expense management (excl. accounts aggregation)
- (3) Domestic staff and home delivery vendor management
- (4) Task management
- (5) Calendar planning
We are actively working on the following features and hope to offer these some time over next one year:
- (1) Account aggregation to automatically fetch the transaction details from bank and credit card accounts
- (2) Comparative benchmarking of savings and category spends with other households
- (3) App version in regional languages (Only English version available in customer beta version)
- (4) Web and desktop versions
Up to 10 members can be added in HouzeGuru under a single family (called "household" in HouzeGuru). One subscription account allows creating one household on HouzeGuru and can comprise of up to 10 members, without any additional cost.
Anyone, including single individuals, can use HouzeGuru for managing their household, even if there are no other members in the household. However, if there are more family members in the household (i.e. living together in the same house), then we would strongly recommend adding them to HouzeGuru to get full benefit and joy of using HouzeGuru.
To keep things simple, a person can be a part of only one household with a given mobile number and email account. However, a person can become a part of two different households if he registers with HouzeGuru using a different mobile number AND a different email-id.
No, any one family member can download HouzeGuru app, create a household and then invite other family members by providing their email-id or mobile number. Other family members will receive an invitation link via sms and email to download the HouzeGuru app and join that household under the same subscription plan.
Children above 15 years of age can be invited to be a part of HouzeGuru as long as they have a separate mobile number and an email-id. We currently do not allow children below 15 years of age to be onboarded to HouzeGuru.
20 GB storage is available per household on HouzeGuru during free trial period or if you are on free subscription plan. Paid subscription plans offer 100GB cloud storage. Any storage used beyond 100GB is charged on a pro-rata basis. Please go through HouzeGuru *Pricing plans* here for more details
You can put in a request to close your HouzeGuru account by simply going to Menu >> Account >> request Closure in HouzeGuru app and we shall help you with the next steps. You shall be able to download all the data that you stored on HouzeGuru with minimal effort and without any additional cost.
Once you have downloaded all of your data from our servers, we shall provide you a confirmation that we have deleted all of your data from our servers and do not hold any information about you, as per our Privacy policy that can be accessed *here*
HouzeGuru offers a 90-day trial period for first time users that offers access to all the features available to paid subscribers but with only 20GB of cloud storage. Also, users will not have access to our offline services such as at-home digitization of hard copy documents into HouzeGuru and personal on-call assistance with setting up HouzeGuru app.
Beyond the 90-day free trail period, users can opt for a free subscription plan or a paid subscription plan as per the pricing plan. A free subscription plan offers only 20GB cloud storage per household and does NOT offer an ad-free experience or any of the offline services available to paid subscribers.
Paid subscribers get following additional services compared to the free subscription plan users:
- - 100GB cloud storage instead of 20GB
- - At-home service to digitize all the hard copy documents as PDFs or images in HouzeGuru, in properly categorized folders and filenames that are easy to understand and search.
- - Personal on-call assistance with setting up HouzeGuru for the entire family. This allows using all the amazing power features in HouzeGuru to their maximum potential
Annual membership plan offers:
- (1) ~17% cost savings over monthly membership plan
- (2) Protects you from any mid-year hike in pricing plans, as we expand to more customers
- (3) You still retain the flexibility to cancel the membership whenever you want, without incurring any incremental cost compared to monthly plan
Of course, you will. We shall never charge you for something that you have not used. Here is how the subscription cancellation and refunds work:
- - If you decide to cancel HouzeGuru annual membership before the next renewal date, then we shall refund you the balance amount, if any remaining, after deducting an amount equivalent to monthly subscriptions for the period that you were using HouzeGuru.
- - For example, if a user paid INR 2999 for an annual membership plan and thereafter decides to cancel the subscription after 8 months, then we shall deduct INR 299 x 8 = 2,392 and refund an amount of INR 2,999 – 2,392 = INR 607 to the user.
- - After cancellation, if the user decides to again register for HouzeGuru, then the 90-day free trial period would not be available again. Instead, only a 15-day free trial period would be offered.

We are very serious about ensuring the Privacy of our users with utmost care and are fully compliant with the current privacy laws and even better them on most fronts. Specifically,
- - All of our user information in encrypted so that no one else, not even HouzeGuru team can access the same – only exception being the data required for us to contact you and details about your membership plan.
- - On-device storage option for sensitive documents
- - We never sell user data
- - Brands that advertise with us on HouzeGuru do so anonymously without knowing your identity, unless you click on these ads and decide to provide your information
