When is the beta launch expected

HouzeGuru customer beta is expected to launch in July 2025, for both iphone and Android users simultaneously.

How can I sign up for customer beta version of the app?

When is the full version commercial launch expected?

Final commercial launch is expected by August 2025 on both Apple app store and Android Playstore simultaneously.

Can anyone in any geographical location join as a beta customer?

HouzeGuru is designed, as of now, for families and individuals residing in India only and would therefore be available on Apple Appstore and Playstore in India only.

What modules will be available in customer beta launch?

In customer beta version, only Document management module shall be available.

What modules will be available in the final commercial app version to be launched subsequently?

The following modules are currently under development and will be offered in the final commercial app version scheduled for launch over next few months:

  • (1) Automatic quick budget creation (web preview version already available on our Autobudget webpage )
  • (2) Expense management
  • (3) Domestic staff and home delivery vendor management
  • (4) Task management
  • (5) Calendar planning
  • (6) Retirement corpus estimation

How many family members can join HouzeGuru as one family?

Up to 10 members can be added in HouzeGuru under a single family (called "household" in HouzeGuru). One subscription account allows creating one household on HouzeGuru and can comprise of up to 10 members, without any additional cost.

Can individuals also subscribe to HouzeGuru without being part of a larger family?

Anyone, including single individuals, can use HouzeGuru for managing their household, even if there are no other members in the household. However, if there are more family members in the household (i.e. living together in the same house), then we would strongly recommend adding them to HouzeGuru to get full benefit and joy of using HouzeGuru.

Can one individual with one mobile number be a part of two households on HouzeGuru? Can a person join two different households on HouzeGuru with two different mobile numbers?

To keep things simple, a person's identity on HouzeGuru is linked to her email-id AND mobile number combination. As long as BOTH of these are different, HouzeGuru shall treat them as different individuals. Hence, the same person can become a part of two different households if she registers on HouzeGuru with a different mobile number AND email-id.

Do all family members need separate subscriptions for HouzeGuru?

No, any one family member can download HouzeGuru app, create a household and then invite other family members by providing their email-id or sending them an invite link from within HouzeGuru app. Other family members will receive an invitation link via email or the messaging service selected by the user, to download HouzeGuru app. The invitee can then join that household under the same subscription plan.

Can children also be invited to be a part of family on HouzeGuru? What access rights do they have in HouzeGuru?

Children above 12 years of age can be invited to join a household on HouzeGuru as long as they their own mobile number and email account. We currently do not allow children 12 years or younger to be onboarded to HouzeGuru.

What is the maximum cloud storage available on HouzeGuru? What if I need more?

10GB storage is available per household on HouzeGuru during free trial period or if you are on free subscription plan. Paid subscription plans offer 100GB cloud storage. Any storage used beyond 100GB is charged on a pro-rata basis.

How can I close my HouzeGuru account without losing data?

You can put in a request to close your HouzeGuru account by simply going to Menu >> Profile >> Request account closure in HouzeGuru app and we shall help you with the next steps. You shall be able to download all the data that you stored on HouzeGuru with minimal effort and no cost.

How can I ensure all my data is returned when I close my account and HouzeGuru doesn't hold any of my data thereafter?

Once you have downloaded all of your data from our servers, we shall provide you a confirmation email within 15 working days that we have deleted all of your data from our servers and do not hold any information about you, as per our Privacy Policy

Is there a trial version for HouzeGuru app? How much does HouzeGuru subscription cost after the trial period ends?

HouzeGuru is currently in customer beta and therefore completely free for everyone. We are keen to have your feedback and suggestions for improvement so that we can improve and truly make it your intelligent home assistant.

When do you plan to announce the pricing plan for HouzeGuru subscription?

We shall announce HouzeGuru subscription pricing once we launch our full commercial version in next few months. There shall be a 90-day free trial period for everyone during which users can decide whether they want to move to paid subscription plan.

Customers who have been a part of our customer beta shall have a further 120 day trial period commencing from the date the pricing plans are disclosed.

How does HouzeGuru ensure my data is secure?

  • - You can always write to us at info@houzeguru.com for any further questions or clarifications.

How is my privacy ensured while using HouzeGuru?

We take the Privacy of our users very seriously. We are fully compliant with the current privacy laws and even better them on most fronts. Specifically,

  • - All of our user information in encrypted so that no one else, not even HouzeGuru team can access the same, without your consent – only exception being the data required for us to contact you and details about your membership plan.
  • - We never sell or share user data
  • - Brands that advertise with us on HouzeGuru do so anonymously without knowing your identity, unless you click on these ads and decide to provide your information

Does HouzeGuru comply with India’s data privacy laws?

I am an existing HouzeGuru user. How do I provide rating and feedback quickly without writing any email or phone call?

You can go to Menu >> Settings >> Feedback & Rating in your HouzeGuru app and provide any feedback or rating you may have.

How can I suggest improvements or new features? What is the best way to do that?

  • You can go to Menu >> Settings >> Feedback & Rating in HouzeGuru app and provide any improvement or new feature suggestions. We will reach out to you for an in-depth understanding of the same so that it can be implemented.
  • Any such improvements or features, if they get implemented, will get you a small gift as a token of appreciation from us for your time and effort to help us improve.
